helicopter madness

I used to be really into RC cars when I was younger. (I’m lying, I still dig them!)

Recently in the office there’s been a small craze over the mini helicopters that are popping up all over the place (OK! So one other guy and myself but the others really like to watch!). Watching one of my coworkers keeping himself entertained with his little PiccoZ chopper. Doing some research I actually ended up with the Micro Mosquito myself and I can really recommend it!

Try to avoid the cheap knockoff sold online by merchants like Amazon. The only place you’ll find the real deal is RadioShack. This is a stricly indoor helicopter and fairly safe around kids and animals. Don’t use the chopper to chase your cats or annoy your dog (it’s way too much fun!)

Soon you’ll be able to do stunts like this:

Next on the list is to master this little puppy…

I got a 2 pack of indoor choppers from Costco for about $50 just for holiday entertaining. There was also a 2 pack with lasers so you can play aerial laser tag. I had to *test* them out, just to be sure they are working before the holiday of course. I am already hooked but the cheap choppers probably won’t survive the day on Thanksgiving. Oh well. Christmas better be spent playing Gears of War 2 on a new XB360.
