12 Bugs We’ve Found In iPhone OS 3.0

From [Woot!]

  1. Multimedia messaging does not support sculpture, macrame, or interpretive dance.
  2. Voice memo recordings totally don’t sound like me. I don’t sound like that, do I? Seriously?
  3. Turned on adult content filter but everybody in my videos still has their clothes on.
  4. Adding a task to calendar did not result in task getting done.
  5. Clicked this blue “compass” icon but kept getting some stupid web browser.
  6. Still no apps to cure the nagging feeling that I should’ve bought a Palm Pre.
  7. The touchscreen is now on the back of the phone instead of the front.
  8. Gone to the bathroom four times already today, and Remote Wipe hasn’t worked once.
  9. Spotlight search crashed with memory overload error trying to index my Harry Potter cosplay photo collection.
  10. Tried out tethering, but I think I broke my finger smacking that phone around the pole.
  11. Apple still hasn’t fixed the no-hardware-keyboard bug.
  12. “Cut” function does not apply to monthly AT&T bill.

All true…

We’re running WordPress 2.8

WordPress 2.8 came out today so I had to install it of course. Upgrade was pain free and pretty quick. I’m running Thematic as my framework so I went ahead and upgraded that to version 0.9.5 as well. Ian‘s code is solid and with the exception of the search bar CSS on the main page here we’re looking good!

Tweet tweetzzz

090608_cb_orphantweetsexDid you know 10 percent of Twitter’s users make up 90 percent of the tweets? [link]

What’s worse is that the media research firm Nielsen proclaimed 60 percent of Twitter users do not return from one month to the next. That’s just sad.

So far Twitter is great at getting people signed up but not so great at keeping people coming back. Logic dictates sooner or later the sign ups will crest and then start tapering off.

Slate has a post about orphaned Tweets that’s worth reading.

Would you hire these people?

With all the body modifications out there we see a lot of people pushing the boundaries of what is socially acceptable. It’s not long ago it was considered inappropriate to show up for work with a tattoo showing.

Take a look at these freaks people. How hard would it be to get gainful employment in many sectors of today’s business world?

The suit seems out of place.

Find The Hidden Movie Titles

I love puzzles and I love movies. Someone at work showed me The Cryptic Canvas made by Empire. I was instantly hooked!

crypticcanvas

The premise is; within the picture hides 50 well known movie titles. Some are just ridiculously obvious, but some are actually pretty hard. I also realized of the 50 movies I’ve watched all but 4. It took me about 3 hours to solve this awesome puzzle.

If you need help getting any of the movies drop a comment and I’ll give you a clue.
